For many architects and designers the Venice Biennale di Architettura is a must visit! The Biennale di Architettura 2018 is titled FREESPACE, a word which describes a generosity of spirit and a sense of humanity at the core of architecture’s agenda.
We decided to start our very personal architectural world tour in Denmark and wanted to roam around the whole day long at the Giardini without a specific plan to see and feel the different ideas and approaches to FREESPACE. From there we went on to Venezuela, Nordic Countries, Great Britain and Canada.
Later on we stopped in Germany, Australia and Brasil completing our journey around the world in Austria and at the Central Pavilion!
The next (very crowded) morning in Venice we dedicated to the exhibition at the Arsenale where the main hall is a must visit (but it needs a lot of time to see, experience and understand the different ideas, projects and installations)!
One of the highlights was the Italian Pavilion … ARCIPELOGO ITALIA Check this link for all the proposed itineraries and continue your journey, wherever it may take you…
The Biennale di Architettura 2018 will be open until November 25th. There are many collateral exhibitions and workshops around town absolutrely worth a visit.
If you’re currently planning a trip to Venice don’t miss the Biennale but you should plan your visit wisely because there’s so much to see and to do this year!
