Following the big success of last year’s Piran Days of Architecture organized in cooperation with Dessa Gallery Ljubljana we would like to draw your attention to the fact that there will be an exhibition opening next Monday in Ljubljana:
Rassegna Architettura Arco Alpino 2016/17
The association Architetti Arco Alpino, founded May 20, 2016 by the Institutes of Architects of the Autonomous Region of Valle d’Aosta, Province of Belluno, Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Province of Cuneo, Provinces of Novara and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Province of Sondrio, Province of Turin, Autonomous Province of Trento and Province of Udine, was created with the aim of creating synergies among the participants and coordinating initiatives related to cultural and professional issues with significant Alpine characterization, with the awareness that the affinities of the geographical features of the Alps have always determined and still determine similar problems and needs.
The exhibition Review AAA 2016/17, is the first contribution that the nine institutes promote in order to create a common ground for reflection on the practices and practices of today’s design in the Alps. 22 works are represented, completed between 2010 and 2016 in the Italian portion of the geographical area identified by the Alpine Convention, chosen by the jury among the 246 projects presented to the review.
Also presented are the projects of all the Friulan designers participating in the AAA Review, in continuity with the objectives of collaboration and discussion on common and specific issues concerning architectural and cultural aspects, already long experienced with neighboring Slovenia and in particular with the Management of the Dessa Gallery of Ljubljana.
